Support New Works...Check!

I really enjoyed performing in Sandra Hosking's staged reading of Detours! The audience for the talkback was great...really supportive and gave some awesome suggestions to Sandy. With the script as the solid spine to my work, I really appreciate the playwright's contribution. Sometimes a good script has meant all the difference between an enjoyable experience and a situation that was not altogether stimulating. And this show is so funny! Although, this experience served to cast my vote in agreement with the old stereotype that comedies are much more difficult than dramas. Practice makes perfect...?This article was published June 4, 2009 in The Inlander (...I can't believe they chose that photo....! )

This summer project definitely gave me some fun falling in love with a Bop clown. And then (attempting) to beat him to a pulp. I talked trash about the toy to the media, and look what gets published...c'est la vie!
