Goodbye Nurse Flinn!

I grabbed up a seasonal job at a tax office answering phones to supplement the checking account, and time got away from me! Can't believe it's been so long...over the next couple of days I'll fill in some gaps!

The BIGGEST update has to do with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! The audiences were wonderful, and I love the Civic space...it's been eleven years since I worked there, and my oh my things have changed! Under new leadership, everything has improved (I do mean everything)!!! It was a wonderful experience...but wait...it's not done yet! We are moving on to competition at the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) and will be traveling in less than a week to Edmonds for the state festival! We have been rehearsing hard cutting the show down to an hour (WHAT?!! Insane, right?!). Part of the competition requirements is that our set fit into a 10x10' box prior to the show and can set up and tear down in 10 minutes immediately prior to and following our show. It will be an experience like no other, and I will keep updating as things unfold. Cuts were rough on everyone, and as I expected, I bid farewell to Nurse Flinn. But I still have party-girl Sandra to keep me company for the next few months! Playing only one character meant kissing the blonde wig goodbye as well...but no complaints there!

EDIT: A few articles...
